Day 1 Trip to Munnar
When you start from Kochi proceed on a 4.5 hour drive to Munnar.The other attractions on the drive include Spice Plantations, Valara waterfalls, Cheeyappara waterfalls, Karadippara view point, Attukkad water fall view etc.
Once you reach Munnar, check in to the hotel. Relax in the hotel for the rest of the day or you can visit Tata Tea Museum which is a fascinating place where you can witness the entire process of tea production, its processing and tea tasting or you can go for a stroll in the Munnar town.
Day 2 Sight Seeing in Munnar
After breakfast, spend the day in local sightseeing in Munnar.
Munnar drives its name from the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale. Mattupetty is a popular picnic spot where you can opt for activities like boating and horse riding. Echo Point, which offers you a panoramic view and the thrill of hearing your voice echo. Pothenmedu, Devikulam hill station, Chithirapuram, Nayamakad and Power House Waterfalls are other popular sightseeing spots. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Departure from Cochin
Morning, after the breakfast checkout from the resort and proceed to Cochin. Places to visit in Kochi include Fort Cochin still keeping alive its ancient Jewish traditions, the Santa Cruz basilica, Mattancherry Palace, St: Francis Church and much more. The Jews Street and Chinese fishing nets are a must see. We will pick you for your trip back home by evening, feeling contended about a wonderful honeymoon you spent at God’s Own Country like so many of our guests till now.
